Clear Ground is a subcontractor for prime contractors on public work in Central Texas. Public-sector scopes we take as a sub
We are a compact self-perform crew. Bigger packages add rented equipment. If a job needs another crew, the bid names it.
Roadside and corridor vegetation
Brush clearing and mulching along corridors. Priced $2,000–$5,200 per acre by density.
Municipal site clearing
Parks, detention ponds and small municipal lots. We follow City of Austin Environmental Criteria Manual section 3.5.2 for tree protection: critical root zone radius of 1 foot per inch of trunk diameter, at least 50% of the full zone left undisturbed, no cut or fill over 4 inches in the half zone, nothing in the quarter zone.
Erosion and sediment control
BMP installation and maintenance to the project SWPPP, with a dated photo log of each inspection.
Task-order response
We answer the same business day. Written quote within 48 hours of the site walk. Most jobs start 1–3 weeks after approval.
How we document the work
Each job gets a pre-work drone flight, progress photos and a closeout package. RTK-corrected drone photogrammetry, checked against ground points on site. Models processed in Pix4D; cut/fill checked in InSite Elevation Pro.
Our drone scans measure surfaces, quantities and grades. They are not a boundary survey or a sealed survey by a licensed surveyor, and a drone cannot see below the ground surface. Your engineer and surveyor remain the record for design and boundaries.
